Question : If i get my credit score from equifax does that affect my credit at all?
I am looking to get my credit report off of equifax, but will this affect my credit rating as it is a search on it?

Answer #2 The fact you have requested the copy report willdo nothing against your ratings, I'm quitemystified as to why you think it does? Allsearches are recorded by Equifax, but only theserahces done by banks, credit card companies,catalogues etc, the request to see a copy is notrecorded - answered by flunkywoman
Answer #3 No, this is not considered a "hard inquiry". Anytime you get your own credit score, it will notaffect your score. You can go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com/ and get yourFREE credit report from Experian, Equifax and/orTransUnion.
