All Answers: Answer #1Each of the three credit bureaus – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – are equallyimportant. My guess is that Equifax is alwayslisted first, since it comes firstalphabetically. As for the lower Equifax score, itcould be a number of things. However, what I cansay is that Equifax is reporting somethingnegative that is missing from your Experian andTransUnion reports...or...Experian and TransUnionare reporting something positive that is missingfrom your Equifax report. My initial recommendationwould be to - compare the reports side-by-side tosee whether there are any differences in thenumber of creditors and/or payment history. Unfortunately, I'm not able to tell you anythingmore without seeing the reports firsthand. Hopethis helps,-Ted - answered by tsisul
Answer #2 Equifax offers you your FICO score, the others donot. 90% of lenders go by your FICO score. FICOcould be lower, because it is a more accurate viewof what you got. My TU is always the highest, myexperian alwasy the lowest and my EQ is always inthe middle. - answered by JUSTFORFUN
