Question : Has anyone filed divorce papers online? Legalzoom?
I want to file for an uncontested divorce online. It is a mutual split, with no property or child issues since we have none. Have any of you done this? I know going to an attorney is a good idea also, but it sounds very expensive and I can't afford that now that I am alone. Any friendly advice? Thanks =)

I was served with the divorce papers, and a court date. We went to court the judgeasked a few questions and asked if there wasanything we needed to discuss. My ex said that wewere to split the bank account on the date of thedivorce, and that he was to refinance a vehicle weowned within 6 months. The judge added that tothe decree and it was done. We were very much inthe same situation and it was easy. From date offile, to date of divorce, 90 days! Just make sureanything that you decide and agree on, you writedown and ask the judge to note in the decree. Wedid it, and there were no problems. - answered by Lynz
