All Answers: Answer #1Nope. - answered by tonalc1 Answer #2I can't honestly see why it would be a problem, if it was packed inside your carry-on luggage. Idoubt a box of candy would ring any alarm bells onthe x-ray machine! What the TSA is concerned aboutare products that could do harm to people, as wellas liquids, gels, or aerosols weighing in at 3ozor more. Since a box of Sees candy meets neitherof those criteria, you're fine. Here's a link tothe TSA's guidelines for what you can and can'tbring on board for future reference: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/index.shtmHope that helps -- have a great flight!Holly - answered by Holly at Travelocity
Answer #3 I've brought granola bars and trail mix throughbefore. nobody said anything. It just can't beanything liquid and you may want to use clearbaggies so they now that its actually candy inthere and not some sort of explosive should theycheck you. But yeah, they don't really show up inthe X-ray machine. The worst that can happen isthat they take it from you at the checkpoint but ithink that only likely to happen if the securityguy is hungry. - answered by Jenny
