Question: #1: I am applying for a job on petco.com and they asked me why I want to work at petco. What shouldI say?
Please give me something meaningful.
- asked by jay78_er
I work in human resources at PETCO. When you applyonline it is a good idea to call the location thatyou plan on working at. However, it's alwaysbetter to apply in person. When you finish theapplication keep calling. When I see an applicantthat keeps calling it shows interest. -Why do youwant to work for PETCO?Our slogan is, "Pets alwayscome first."We look for people that arecompassionate about animals.Helpful, peopleoriented people.Motivated people who are lookingto assist the customer. And last, but not least;we are looking for people looking to grow with ourcompany and people who are ready to get down tobuisness!-Good Luck! - answered by: Mrs. S View All Answers (4)

The prices are generally the same in-store as theonline price. However, some businesses take in toaccount shipping prices, so if you put the itemin2 your cart, and pick the regular shipping, that'll give you the price in-store. - answered by: ratluver4ever View All Answers (3)

Question: #7: should i get this for my bettas when i get them Imagine Betta Bowl Kit check it out at petco.comim getting 2?
- asked by franklin b
Please do not get this. The "bowl" is barely aLitre in size, and once you add in the plant andthe gravel, it's much less than one litre, whichis not by any means enough for a betta fish. Itwon't be enough room for him to swim and behealthy, and it also means the bowl is too smallto be heated - and bettas like their water at 80F. And lastly, there is no top to this, and bettasare known to jump out of their tank.Instead, tryto find a small tank (like 3-5 gallons) with asmaller filter and heater for each of your bettas. They will be much happier that way. - answered by: Zoe View All Answers (6)

Question: #9: is this good for my 1 in long turtle? http://www.petco.com/product/105894/Zoo-Med-Avian-Sun-5-0-UVB-Bulb.aspx?
- asked by TJ d
Thats a fine choice, 5.0UVB is where you want tobe. Feel free to ignore the previous post though,as the bulb is florecent and will not get hotenough to do any damage... though they were rightto mention only leaving it on during the daylightperiod in your tank. Also, it is not a baskinglight if thats what you were thinking, so incaseyou dont have one already, youll need a daylightbulb as well (those do get hot) - answered by: BriS View All Answers (3)
Question: #10: should i get this for my parakeet budgie when its breedinghttp://www.petco.com/product/14237/Eco-Nest-for-Bir

- asked by chris
You can buy that if you want! I don't see aproblem! I was buying my sawdust for 100 nestboxes at a time and couldn't afford that. Sinceyou only have 1 pair, there is no reason why youcan't buy that! It is fine!Do NOT change thenesting material until AFTER the babies have comeout of the box so you don't upset the mom.Yourfemale will come out every other day or so topoop. You will know she has laid eggs when youstart seeing LARGE globs of poop on the bottom ofthe cage! - answered by: !!!!!!! View All Answers (3)
