Macy's

does the macys at 4000 W. Diversey Ave Chicago, IL 60639 sell clothing or is it just a matress and furniture center??????please help

clothing and mattress and furniture. i went to theexact mall when i was on vacation. i bought likethree skater shirts and some tight jeans there.and i also remember seeing mattresses andfurniture there.

I believe I know which one you're talking about,but I dont live in Chicago i just visitfrequently. I'm thinking of this really old brickbuilding all by its self in down town Chicago. AndI think it has clothes up stairs and other stuffdown stairs.. I'm not certain though. I hope thishelps

I'm not sure if the other posters realize thatChicago and its surrounding regions have more thanone Macy's location. And they all used to beField's, which is a historic Chicago institution.That building occupying the block bounded by StateStreet, Wabash, Washington and Randolph isgorgeous and associated with the Marshall Field'sname. That location was formerly the flagshipMarshall Field's store.I have not been to thelocation at 4000 W. Diversey (and that is mostdefinitely NOT downtown); however, I do know it isan outlet location, and I believe that when it wasField's, it was only for furniture (but I might bewrong).

The Macy's (formerly Marshall Fields) location at4000 W Diversey Avenue is a furniture clearancecenter. In years past they would have at leastone big sale a year....since Macy's took over Idon't know if they still have it or not....butthis is not a regular store like State Street andWater Tower...its the furniture ClearanceCenter.
