Question : In the zone diet is a dried apricot equivalent to a fresh apricot in carbohyrdrate blocks.?
I've just started the zone diet and in the book it says that 3 apricots is considered 1 carbohydrate block. Does this mean that 3 dried apricots is the same as 1 carbohydrate block as well? Thanks heaps

All Answers: Answer #1It should be the same, just make sure that the dried apricots are unsulfered and do not have anyadded sugars or fats. If the ingredients say only'apricots', then you should be fine. But if you'retrying to lose weight, it's better to eat thefresh ones anyway. They contain water, which willhelp you feel more full, and take longer to eat, which will keep you feeling less muncy. Good luck! - answered by Lilina8
