I have been looking on the web to see where I canpurchase ready Zone Meals for the zone diet in theUK. So far, I have only found places in thestates and you incur a charge for shipping (someof them don't even ship to the UK) Anyone who ison the zone diet and could give me a few helpfultips on where to buy the products, I would be verygrateful.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can buy the Zonediet meals over here in the UK, however, you canbuy supplements and bars etc from http://www.zonebasics.com/Failing that, if you buythe Zone Diet books that are available, you'll beable to make the meals yourself. It takes moretime than getting them delivered, but would bemuch cheaper! - answered by: beautyspotuk View All Answers (1)
Question: #4: Is anyone on the Zone Diet Home Delivery System?
What has been your experience with this weight loss system where the Zone diet is delivered freshto your front door? I know it's expensive, butdoes it work, and is the food better thannutrasystem (which for me, tasted pretty bad withthe exception of a couple of items)?

My roommate was on the Zone diet and it workedwell for her. The main thing is that you can ONLYeat what they give you. So no snacking on yourown. You also still have to make sure you get yourexercise in. The food tasted good. I wish I canafford it but it's so darn expensive! - answered by: chiapet159 View All Answers (1)
Question: #5: Any vegetarians/vegans following a "Zone" type diet?
Recently I decided to follow a balanced meal rulesimilar to the Zone diet, but I'm having troublecoming up with meals that fit the rules (ieportions of carbs-protein-fat being 50-35-15). I'malso trying to stick to the low Glycemic indexfoods as well.Any suggestions for meal ideas? Ieat eggs, but I'm lactose intolerant and don't eatprocessed cheeses so I don't often get dairy. Soyisn't an option either, as I'm trying to eliminatemost of it from my diet (thyroid problems=P).Howabout any ideas for low-cal/low-sugar dips orseasonings for both raw and cooked veggies? I'masking a lot, but any suggestions are greatlyappreciated!

The founder of the Zone diet has no medicalbackground, is overweight and claims that carrotsare less healthy than a dove bar. I'm not sure Iwould follow any advice he might have. Go towww.veganoutreach.org and www.vrg.org. From yourlists of don'ts I would say to add nuts and seedsfor protein. Also you can get egg protein power(or even rice protein powder) from the vitaminstores. Make it into a smoothie with fruit juiceor rice milk. Glycemic index is kind of strange, too. It doesn't take into account mixtures offood. It only accounts for single foods on anempty stomach. - answered by: Joyce T View All Answers (2)

Question: #7: What is easier? The Zone Diet or Food Combining?
What are the benefits of each diet? Which one is more likely to help you lose weight?
- asked by doglover
Do what makes you feel the best. I don't reallylike either diet. Eat real whole food and try andget some exercise. Check your portion size andeat small meals closer together, eat more fruitsand vegetables and not as many carbs, that hashelped my mother. But you do have to eat somecarbs - yams, potatoes. Yams are lower on theglycemic scale. - answered by: daisyduck4007 View All Answers (3)
