Question : Bowflex???
I have an elliptical trainer/stepper and am thinking about getting something different. I usually use free weights - would you recommend a Bowflex though?

The Bowflex is a great machine for the averageperson. The problem is, the majority of peoplewho get home equipment like a Bowflex or Soloflexonly use them for the first few weeks or whatever, and then they just sit there taking up space andcosting a lot of money. So, if you believe thatyou'll very likely continue to use the machine onthe regular basis and would rather work-out athome than go to a facility, go for it..

Answer #4
It depends on what your looking for. Free weightsare obviously the best but I have seen bow flexwork for some people. The problem with bow flex isthat it is resistance training which doesn't workyour muscles as well as weights do. It is muchharder to get "cut" on a bow flex. For the mostpart I suggest using free weights as much aspossible.
