All Answers: Answer #1Nope, not me. I have no faith in online leads. And I don't want business that's going to shop meout every six months, either. - answered by mbrcatz17
Answer #2 I have to agree. Online lead just means the typeof person that is going to shop around every 6months, sometimes less. It may give you leads andyou get that 6 month commission but it is cheaperto retain than it is to get new business. - answered by blb
Answer #3 If you really want online leads, I'd suggestconsidering starting your own site. Rather thanspending, say, $700-$1000 on leads that may or maynot even be entirely yours, why not get your ownsite going and spend a few bucks on yahoosponsored search, making your keywords specificenough to your region that it won't cost you anarm and a leg for the clicks? That way the folksmight just be local enough that you can call themand (gasp) make an actual appointment and doproper business rather than just deliver phonequotes to distant people.I know I won't spendmoney on someone else's leads.Or here's anotheridea: if you get a REALLY successful leadgenerating site, do what business you can and sellthe leads you cannot get to yourself.Remember, though, internet shoppers, by and large, are allabout price. I'll be surprised when I hear fromone asking for anything but the quote. - answered by Bright Future Penguin
Answer #4 Yes, these other guys are missing out on the newtechnology. As insurance agents we must evolvewith the new trends or we will be left behind. These leads can be real cheap and provide you somevaluable customers. As Darwin said if you don'tevolve your are not living. - answered by John H
