Geico Insurance

Hey,Wondering what people think of Geico insurance. I am contemplating using it for my home and auto and want to know of other people's experience with them.I prefer to know from people who have made a claim of some sort, so they have more experience than just calling up and ordering insurance and paying their bill -- I need people who have actually had experience with this company.Thank you for you input!

it's very good insurance i have it...they stretchhow much u save a lil' bit but i save around $60dollars a year...

It is a cheesy commercial. But that is the wholepoint.The thing about insurance companies is thatthey will compete for your business.Basically onceyou get a quote from someone you can tell anothercompany what you got and see if they are willingto match it or beat the price, All insurancecompanies will raise their rates once you become aliability.(Make a claim)

one of their policy holders hit me not my car andthat havent called back for 2 weeks the guy was atfault in thank god i wasnt more seriouly injuredthan i was but i couldnt walk for 4 days i stillhavent gotten a call

Ann S- there is a good chance that the person whohit you either lost your info or purposely did notgive it to the geico claims rep when reporting it.Or worse, he may have not even called Geico toreport it. If they have your #, they WILL call youwithin 24 hrs if they had it. If you know hispolicy # and name you can call geico and they willguide you in the right direction.

Now I think my friend had Geico or Safe auto, Ican't remember which one it was ... but ...I canonly speak on what happen to a friend of mine ...he was in a car accident and he had Geico or Safeauto at the time, will you believe they paid totake care of his car and since the other peopledidn't have insurance and my friend wasn't atfault, they didn't cover the other peoples car,but his next month bill was 3 times more than whathis normal monthly bill was, and he asked "whatthe heck, tell me why, you can't do that", they*Geico or Safe auto* said "because his car was Xamount of dollars for the repairs and he only hadto pay 250.00, they're going to get their moneyback from him one way or another" OMG I was on thephone and almost passed out when I heard them saythat to him ... so needless to say, he droppedtheir butts real quick and went to Progressive.Ihonestly can't remember if it was safe auto orgeico, it was one of the two

I AM DEALING WITH GEICO RIGHT NOW ON A CLAIM. IHAD AN ACCIDENT NO FAULT OF MINES ON JULY 15 2007, AS OF TODAY THEY STILL HAVENT PAID ME ONE REDPENNY FOR MY LOST WAGES. I CANT WAIT TILL THIS ISOVER SO I CAN CHANGE INSURANCE COMPANY. THEY SUCK
